Football
On Tuesday 12th March, some of our Year 3 and 4 children went to Play Football to play a number of matches against other teams. The children worked well together and enjoyed their experience. Well done to them all!
Year 5/6 Football Team
Well done to our football team, on the 26th September they represented the school well, played well as a team and came third in their group matches.
Well done to you all.
Tag Rugby
On Tuesday 20th February, the Year 6 Tag Rugby represented St Teresa’s well at the Tag Rugby Tournament at UCLAN sports arena. After winning two matches and losing two they came third overall. We are incredibly proud of their achievements.
The children said they were great at passing, spotting tactics and working as a team.
On the 1st February, our Year 6 Rugby team travelled to UCLAN once more to compete in more matches as part of the league matches for the division.
Unfortunately, one team did not turn up. The children played well against the second team and managed an 8-8 draw.
The teamwork and sportsmanship displayed by the team was outstanding. They were once again brilliant representatives of St Teresa’s.
Year 3/4 Mini-skills
On Tuesday 27th February, 6 representatives from Year 3 and 4 took part in a Mini-skills event at Westview. The children displayed great sportsmanship as they supported another team who was a competitor down. The children tried hard with all of the tasks and said it was so much fun. Well done to them all!
