Welcome to Our Governors’ Section
Please find below details of how our Governing body is structured, including the names, categories, responsibilities and terms of appointment for each Governor.
Governing Body
The job of the Governing Body at St Teresa’s is to work with the school on the school’s strategy and vision, planning, developing policies and keeping the school under review so that all our children achieve their full potential.
Governors and the clerk mostly carry out their duties during evening meetings and may attend training sessions and seminars to help them do their job effectively. They also go into school to meet with the Head and other members of the management team and carry out classroom visits to monitor the subjects they have responsibility for.
If you wish to know more, or are interested in becoming a Governor at St Teresa’s, please contact us via the school office.
You can also find out more at www.governornet.co.uk.
