Wellbeing Support
At St Teresa's we value the wellbeing of all our children, parents, staff and governors. We are committed to providing support for all and being able to signpost people for external support if we cannot do this within school.
We have two dedicated Senior Mental Health Leads who work tirelessly with children and staff. They meet regularly to listen to concerns and celebrate everything we do well in school.
They are also available for parental support.
Some examples of things we do to support wellbeing are:
- My Happyminds for children (a parent app is also available for use at home).
- Monthly coffee mornings to drop in and have a chat.
- Support and advice as needed.
- Foodbank referrals.
- We have a bank of uniform available too.
- Arrange for support within the home with things like child behaviour, domestic abuse, financial concerns and a wide range of other things.
- Wellbeing days for staff.
- Regular gathering of information from parents and children to hear their voice.
